Bikes & Breakfast Eldersburg Happy Summer!
Eldersburg Bikes & Breakfast was HOT
Bikes & Breakfast Eldersburg will be supporting the new and upcoming event of “Breakfast & Bikes,” which will be held at the world-famous and historic “Lexington Market” in Baltimore, MD!
I had the occasion last week to meet with Mr. Jackie Sims who holds the position of “Director of Human Resources” for Baltimore Public Markets and Lexington Markets and is also an avid enthusiast for the sport of motorcycling and a owner/rider . Further, Jackie is a veteran having served our county in the “USMC” .
In discussion he initially wanted to host a “Bikes & Breakfast” event on site there…I suggested to him that this is “HIS” event and to avoid any confusion with our “Authorized” and “Sanctioned” events by name let’s call his event: Breakfast & Bikes” at the historic Lexington Market in Baltimore. He enthusiastically agreed and final approval came down this morning
The market itself opens for food services on Saturdays at 7am , there is a huge parking area that will be reserved and secured for motorcycles only and local law enforcement along with “Market” security will be visible and present, can’t ask for more .
The long distance out of state rider was from Ohio, while the in state long distance rider came up from Lexington Park, Md.
The “Birthday Rider” winner won because yesterday was his birthday while Doug Sandhofer won the award for Oldest American” bike with his ‘56 “Panhead” .
We even had a “Morgan Super 3” on site !
The “Trivia” questions really made people think and they received some nice gifts in return !
A great morning event though it started off a bit overcast but when the sun came out, wow !
Friday evening was a “Double” for “Bike Night” events and the call went out for the “Long Bike” .
First was “Lil Hop’s” hosted by David Hopwood and then the second stop was at “X-Golf” hosted by Michael Spence .
Even with the rains that passed through it was a great evening .
Saturday evening was another great evening at “X-Golf” on the “Long Bike” to listen to our own Bob Tyson and the “Zigzag” band .
Yep, a great weekend and again I thank you all for supporting our event and also the ones that we support .
It’s all about promoting and enjoying that “Bikes and Breakfast” experience !!!
