Well, Bikes & Breakfast Old Town Alexandria definitely finished the year on a very, very cold note and a dreary day. Thank you very much to everybody who came out to finish off the year and quietly celebrate our three-year soft opening. For the people wondering, I forgot to unplug my heated gear controller from the Tuareg and killed the battery overnight. I also didn't realize that the lithium batteries are extremely finicky on recharge and act very strangely, especially with the electronics on the bike, so I left my house with a full tank of gas, didn't get more than 5 miles, and had an empty tank. Go figure. It didn't ruin or dampen my day, as I still had a great time with all the fine folks at Bikes & Breakfast Old Town Alexandria. See you next month to kick off a fantastic 2026!
