Eldersburg keep on biking along.

Well, today was the fourth Sunday of the month so you know what that means, another event held for: “Bikes & Breakfast Eldersburg” . It did start off a bit slow because of the overcast skies and early rains in addition to the chilly temps . With that said we did have a few over 90 bikes on site and my idea of keeping track worked flawlessly . More on that later . The roller cart was set up under the tent with plenty of “FREE” coffee and donuts that all seemed to fully enjoy . Then about 8:30 the sun popped out and the bikes started rolling in ! I had “Why Not” on site which drew a lot of attention .

The first bike on site (Victory) arrived at 7:30 after a slightly wet ride up from Laurel, Md. and he earned the “Award” cap and other gifts . Riders were on site from Pennsylvania, Virginia and throughout Maryland ! The variety of bikes was outstanding and led to enjoyable conversations once again . We even had a “Pole” dancer on site who enjoyed her ride !

1st/Sgt. Canfield from our state police “Motor” unit visited once again and his BMW work bike was the topic in several conversations .

Used Bike Emporium donated to the giveaways and special thanks to John Lumadue for his support . His daughter received a “Special” gift for being the ”Youngest” passenger at 7yrs. old . We even had a group of Vespa scooters on site which also did garner a great deal of attention . A special “Shout out” to Greg Semuskie for the HD t-shirt and “Challenge” coins and the Vespa riders even gifted me one of their t-shirts .

Last man standing today was my son Derek Sullivan who rode “Oh Canada” up today !

Again, I thank you all for your enthusiastic support and I so enjoy the camaraderie. Oh, how did I keep count today, with an old fashion hand held “Attendance” clicker .

Once again, remember we are always the fourth 4th. Sunday of the month .
